12 Days Of Punkmas: Day 4

Written by | Headlines, Holiday, Uncategorized

It’s Day 4 of 12 Days of Punkmas: at this point in the month people start trying to figure out if they are going to come home for the holidays [or trying to get out coming home for the holidays], figuring out if they even have money to get people presents – much less what people actually want – and of course, trying to figure out how to handle the awkward relationship questions that family inevitably asks. So lets get on with it then…

Day 4:

A Day To Remember – “Right Where You Want Me To Be

This track embodies everything a teen and adult of this generation is thinking this time of year – I actually kind of want to come home this year, I’m poor as shit so don’t expect anything other than cookies that my mom bought on sale.

New Found Glory – “Nothing For Christmas

Off the Pop Goes Christmas album released [seriously, it’s a really good album go buy it] – this track reminds us of how much we all reflect on this past year, all the bullshit and all the good, and overall that I don’t really need anymore stuff – too tired to think about all the damn stuff.

Fall Out Boy – “Yule Shoot Your Eye

The stupid snow, the stupid sales, the stupid holiday damn cheer, your stupid holiday picture with your new fiancé – keep it over there, we’re over it.

Until tomorrow – ‘Merry Christmas, I could care less.’
