New artist to know, Pacifico – who will be at New York’s iconic Pianos TONIGHT [November 8] – is an indie-electric pop artist with an early 2000s vibe. His music has a very nostalgic feel as his familiar melodies draping over your memory of teenage years past.
You hear an influence of The Smashing Pumpkins with a dash of the Silversun Pickups as Pacifico brings back the ‘good music from back in the day’ still with a modern element.
When diving into new music we often associate it with something we know and make our judgement based off that memory for whether or not we enjoy the artist or track. For myself, this makes me think back to the days of when John Tucker Must Died and Easy A took over theaters and had every female believing that no jerk-off was worth letting your life crumble – fight back, have fun, be free.
Pacifico’s new album – Everest – is out now and can be streamed on Spotify [link below]. Check it out, make it out to a show, let us know if you vibe along side us.
